Start with one good question
Instead of asking for a long lesson, try a child’s own question. Ask Friday for one example, then invite the child to explain it back.
Effort and understanding are different
A child deserves encouragement for trying. An activity badge does not mean a skill is mastered; return to the idea later and try a fresh example.
Make room for real-world discovery
Pair screen learning with drawing, counting, reading aloud or observing nature safely with an adult. These notes are not presented as independently reviewed research.
